Fast Estimation of the Spectral Optical Properties of Rabbit Pancreas and Pigment Content Analysis

With objective acquiring information that can be used development future applications to diagnose treat diseases, spectral optical properties rabbit were evaluated broad-spectral range, between 200 1000 nm. method obtain such simple, based almost on direct calculations from measurements. obtained show similar wavelength dependencies ones for other tissues, but further analysis absorption coefficient showed tissues contain pigments, namely melanin, lipofuscin. Using simple calculation, was possible retrieve contents these pigments spectrum pancreas, which indicates they accumulate same proportion as result aging process. Such pigment accumulation camouflaging real DNA, hemoglobin, water, precisely subtracting absorption.
